The project is located on 44th street also known as “club row”. Next to such famous institutions as the Yacht Club, the Yale club or the Algonquin Hotel, the building complements its surrounding without renouncing its french modern roots. The 30-story limestone and glass is set back from the street. The building features a glazed cylindrical central tower flanked by two 20 story limestone wings. A social ballroom is located above the main entrance located on 44th street. The Architecture and the material used are meant to create a stylistic link between New York and Paris. Limestone is a material used extensively in Paris and New York. Art-deco was a style that originated in Paris and became widely popular in the United States. The building's forms and colors feel as familiar to a Parisian as a New-yorker.
